Dedicated to Facilitating Continuous Cultural Transformation

Empowering Change Through Education and Support

Our Story

There is always be a motivation.

At 2 Cultivate, our story is rooted in lived experience and shaped by a deep understanding of how people grow within organisations—and what can stand in their way.

Over 17 years, our founder progressed through multiple roles during his career facing by many challenges and barriers due to ethnicity and disability. That journey led to senior leadership, where responsibility increased—but so did visibility of the gaps between organisational intention and everyday reality.

While systems, policies, and frameworks for inclusion were in place, the culture did not always reflect them.

Experiences of discrimination linked to ethnicity, alongside persistent microaggressions and stereotyping, created barriers that were often subtle but impactful. Progression became constrained—not by capability, but by behaviours and attitudes that were misaligned with the organisation’s stated values.

Alongside this, there was a parallel personal journey—navigating neurodivergence while managing mental health challenges in environments that were not always equipped to understand or support these experiences.

These moments were not just challenges—they were catalysts.

They revealed a critical truth: Organisational systems do not create inclusion—people and behaviours do.

And where there is misalignment, there is missed potential.

2 Cultivate was created to address that gap.

Our Mission

We exist to cultivate environments where underrepresented talent is seen, supported, and empowered—transforming workplaces and communities through inclusive growth and intentional development.

At 2Cultivate, we work with organisations to move beyond performative inclusion and towards meaningful cultural change by:

  • Translating lived experiences into actionable insight
  • Aligning behaviours with Organisational Visions and Values
  • Supporting leaders to understand the real impact of their behaviours and decisions
  • Empowering staff to engage, contribute, and thrive within inclusive environments

Through our engagement and insight programmes, we create structured opportunities for reflection, dialogue, and development—helping organisations connect policy with practice.

We don’t just raise awareness. We build capability for change.

Our Values

At 2 Cultivate, our values are not statements—they are the foundation of how we work and what we expect from the organisations we support.

Cultivation
Growth takes intention. We create the conditions for individuals and organisations to develop with purpose, clarity, and accountability.

Lived Experience as Insight
We recognise lived experience as a powerful source of knowledge. It informs our approach, shapes our programmes, and drives meaningful change.

Alignment Over Aspiration
We challenge organisations to align behaviours with values. Inclusion must be visible in action—not just articulated in strategy.

Transparency
We create space for honest, sometimes uncomfortable conversations—because progress requires openness and a willingness to confront reality.

Human-Centred Practice
We centre people in everything we do, recognising the intersection of identity, neurodivergence, and mental health in shaping workplace experiences.

Sustainable Change
We focus on long-term impact, equipping organisations with the tools and insight needed to embed change—not just initiate it.
